Professional Microscope Service You Can Depend On

I'm Kevin Roach, owner and operator of Area Wide Microscope & Equipment Service. I have more than 15 years of experience servicing microscopes and laboratory equipment, and I take pride in providing thorough, dependable service and personal attention to every customer.

My goal isn't simply to clean a microscope and move on to the next one. Each microscope is carefully evaluated, serviced and checked for proper operation before the job is considered complete.

What Our Microscope Service Includes

Every microscope is evaluated to determine its condition and identify any needed repairs or maintenance.

Depending on the microscope and its condition, service can include:

• Complete microscope evaluation
• Cleaning of accessible components and optical surfaces
• Disassembly as necessary for thorough cleaning
• Cleaning and re-lubrication of mechanical assemblies
• Inspection of moving components
• Mechanical repairs
• Electronic and electrical repairs
• Optical and mechanical alignment checks
• Reassembly and final operational testing
• Verification of proper operation

Our objective is to return your microscope in the best operating condition reasonably possible.

Detailed Service Report Included

A detailed service report is included with microscope service at no additional charge.

The report documents the condition of your microscope and the service performed. This gives your organization a useful maintenance record and helps you understand exactly what was inspected, cleaned, adjusted or repaired.

Microscope Repair

When a microscope isn't operating properly, replacement isn't always necessary.

Area Wide provides troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electronic problems and can clean and re-lubricate assemblies that have become stiff or difficult to operate.

We also have machining capabilities that can help when replacement mechanical parts are difficult or impossible to obtain.

Preventive Maintenance

Routine preventive maintenance can help keep microscopes operating properly and identify developing problems before they become expensive repairs.

Preventive maintenance can include cleaning, inspection, lubrication, alignment checks and verification of proper operation.

Laboratory Equipment Repair

Our capabilities aren't limited to microscopes.

Area Wide also services many types of laboratory and related equipment. Contact us with the manufacturer, model and problem you're experiencing, and we'll let you know whether it's something we can service.
